In this piece, Matthew Yglesias outlines Trumps alarming moves seeking to turn the United States toward authoritarianism. Yglesias argues for two overarching priorities: (1) that the opposition to Trump’s authoritarian moves remains peaceful and orderly, and (2) that the opposition focus in on winning Senate races in states like Ohio, Florida, and Texas in order to halt the MAGAfication of our judiciary.
I missed that colon at first. Now I’m not nearly as excited to read this as I was before I noticed it.

How on earth are we going to get competitive senate candidates in swing states…seems so bleak.
TL;DR: Dems must win the Senate in 2026.
