But basically it seems that Le Pen is listening to Bardella and possibly going to make the same electorally smart decisions that allowed Meloni to mainstream her party & take power. Bardella is a lot more economically liberal than Le Pen and he’s pushing for a “Union of the Right”. If they do this, RN & its allies would almost certainly have a Parliamentary majority. And this comes just as Bardella is most favored (out of all candidates) to become the next French President. So in under 2 years, it’s quite possible that RN will have the Presidency & Parliament at the same time.
