Introduction- I believe Bayer-Monsanto, Gates and a billionaire named Harry Stine, as well as other billionaires, have are actively trying to take control of the United States agricultural system.

    The players

    1. Bill Gates– Gates is known for being the co-founder of Microsoft and is currently worth $105bn. He is also one of the largest private owners of farmland in the United States, as well as being a large supporter of industrial agriculture, genetically modified crops and patented seeds. He has also been pushing for insects as a food source, which is fucking wild that he thinks a famine is close enough that we will have to rely on other sources of nourishment. He's also on the Epstein list.

    2. Bayer-Monsanto– Most well-known for it's control over the agricultural industry through patented genetically modified seeds that farmers were legally forbidden to save or reuse. They are one of the largest pushers of pesticides, particularly glyphosate-based Roundup, for control of pests, mold and fungus in crops. Roundup will kill crops that have not been genetically modified to resist it. Studies have linked long term exposure to Roundup to cause cancer, to kill beneficial microbes in soil, quickly kills bees(and other pollinators ) and has leaked into the water table in areas it is heavily used. Bayer purchased Monsanto in June 2018, dropping the name while still selling the same products. Bayer itself has been linked to Nazi atrocities, ethical standards and environmental harm. They have paid $11bn in lawsuit settlements.

    3. Harry Stine- This is the one that I expect few people to know. Owner of Stine Seed Company, which has been a significant influence and the modification of seeds. He is worth $9.9bn. The company has over 900 patents relating to seed genetics. They were able to claim these seeds as an intellectual property and has been know to aggressively pursue legal action against small farmers found using there seeds with out expressed consent. Which means if their gmo crops end up cross pollinating with his neighbors non-gmo crop, Stine seed can legally sue that farmer for patent infringement.

Info- As stated previously, Stein has 900 patented seeds. First successful patenting the first two soybean plants (all of it. seeds, stems, crop its self. in 1994. In the late 1990's when Roundup began to be sold, Stine focused on Genetic modifications that would increase their resistance to round up, their yield and speed of growth. One of the significant health effects of this is much of the nutrients are stripped from the plant in the process of receiving highest yield. It is believed that is a major contributor to much of Americans health problems. To quote his own words "We're going to be able to double corn yields very easily. And apparently a lot of people working in the same industry can't see that…They think, 'How can this be? And furthermore, how can this little farm kid out here be doing this?", Working hand and hand with Monsanto, they were able to to dominate their competition by working in tandem to insure they crops will out survive the next farmers, with double the yield and eliminating Pest and mold problems. Where Gates comes in is his is his ownership of 275.000 acres of farmland while pushing eating bugs and genetically modifying insects. His support and sponsorship of genetical modifying insects and viruses is a significant concern seeing as they have no idea what the long term effects will be. Between Roundup and modified insects, there is a real chance of collapse of out pollinators populations around the USA. If that were to happen, it is very likely the only options will be to hand pollinate all your crops or use machines and seeds that you must sign a contract for claiming you will not unlawful use their seeds and equipment in any way other than one crop rotation. With Trump's tariff's decimating our soybean farmers, it is very likely that many soybean farmers will have to sell to the billionaires for pennies on the dollar. Once they have a monopoly on farmland, we will be there wage slaves. The ones who control the food control the power.  Bayer now continues to appeal adverse verdicts and has also tried to lobby for legislative protection from future lawsuits. They are hoping to be able to be lose on the restriction because the value profit over community health. It is known that there is crossover between Bayer-Monsanto and employees of the USDA (The governing body in charge of regulation of drugs and crops agriculture.

Conclusion- With the rate at which the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer, it doesn't feel to far off from framing being completely control by AI. Most of the "Elites" in the world work together in order to stay in power. Any chance they get to take power from use and get us to bend to their will, they will.

Reason for the post- I've been following Monsanto since culinary school. I believe they are truly evil, and only succeed because they are ok with poisoning people. Hoping for some discussion on the topic or some insight from other that I may not have seen.
