I can’t help but lament the Trans-Pacific Partnership, which would have provided so much leverage in any economic/trade discussion with China. Obviously I recognize that Trump has lit the recent fuses, but boy oh boy is it annoying that the 2015 Bernie campaign poisoned the water on trade agreements, helping to make tariffs more acceptable.
