GoodOl'Boy JD and Erika been fucking around for years having an affair. Charlie found out recently and was gonna expose the VP and his adultery so JD had him shot to keep it under wraps.
Erika is currently working plans for USHA'S "accident" that will happen in the next 3 to 6 months. Most likely a plane crash.
They will be married/relationship within a year. Touted around as the mourning grifters, I mean widows, who fell in love and supported each other through their grief and hard times.
