As some of you may have noticed, ENVYisEVIL is no longer part of the mod team here. This decision was not due to any single event, it was a culmination of several discussions that concluded in a parting of ways. That's all that will be said on the internal dealings. It was a private and internal matter, and it has been concluded.

In light of this we want to clarify a few things with regards to Envy:

1. ENVYisEVIL is not banned, and is still free to post here as a normal user. If you don't want to see his posts, use the block feature.
2. Anyone found personally harassing ENVYisEVIL or anyone else will be subject to corrective actions.

We also have some internal process changes to help us keep track of things better on the mod side. One such change is ensuring when a user is banned they are provided with either a link to the offending content, or a reason of the issue such as brigading from another sub.

If you feel you were wrongfully banned, the correct course of action is to use modmail. Do not PM or chat any of the mods individually. In addition if your ban appeal is flippant, or insulting it will be denied without consideration. This includes being inflammatory to Envy, he may not even have been the mod who banned you.

You are asking to be unbanned, you are not making demands. You have no right to post or comment here. Private Property – Private Rules. This is not a "public square" nor a commune, think of it like a private social club, who has an open invitation for people to join. But if you break the rules, you can be asked politely, yet firmly, to leave.

What has not changed:

We are still a LIBERTARIAN sub. We do not welcome communists, socialists, fascists, MAGA, or any other authoritarians. Communists, Socialists, Fascists, MAGA, you won't be let back in, do not even ask. There's 1,001 all sides political battle royale subs for you to argue on, this aint one of them. We do not owe anyone use of our platform to spread their anti-liberty ideas.

We still do not allow users to shill for anti-liberty candidates. This sub is not for you to come in here and say "Oh but Blue team isn't as bad as Red team so you should compromise on XYZ and vote Blue!" or "Blue team hates the 2A, you need to vote Red team and compromise on your other positions!" This sub exists to promote libertarianism, not as a farm for the Duopoly to try and win some swing votes.

Potential Meme Restrictions

In the past we had a meme ban, sometimes in part, sometimes in total. We are asking for feedback on whether or not to re-implement such as many users have said they're sick of the meme spam. Please read the instructions carefully.
