So what exactly is the plan for prosecuting Musk and everyone else assuming a Democrat wins the presidency in 2028? There’s the Trump administration obviously, but Musk, Thiel, Zuckerberg, Andreessen, Luckey, and others who might be conceivably involved will be more difficult to prosecute. I’ve no doubt that they’ve probably taken illegal actions, but there’s just so many people to investigate, and the DoJ, unless dramatically expanded, will have trouble bringing all these cases to a close before an election in 2032, by which they will get another chance to subvert the US government.
