Maine has issued “do not eat” advisories for deer and wild turkey in certain areas of central Maine due to high levels of PFAS (forever chemicals) found in their meat. PFAS chemicals can build up in the body and are linked to health issues like cancer, and cooking does not remove them.

  1. For deer and wild turkey in portions of Albion, Fairfield, Freedom, Knox, Skowhegan, Thorndike, Unity, and Unity Township

These advisories apply to specific zones **and have been expanded as more testing has been done.**

  2. Maine to my understanding is not known for its industry. So how did they reach a high enough level that eating the wildlife is ill-advised?

  3. Food shortage due to snap problems and suddenly the wild animals have too much pfas in them to eat? Unlucky…?

  4. This the same government that pushes cancerous sugar alternatives? and happy to push cancerous jabs? when have they changed tac? I think something else is going on here.
