I’m really not sure whether the LNP has a path back to government now. Metro voters overwhelmingly believe in climate change, and want something done about it. They also comprise 70% of seats.

Maybe they think they’re losing because staunch conservatives are staying home? I think this is just a case of Labor’s agenda being popular and effective.

If a campaign promise isn’t getting you votes, don’t make the promise and just work towards the goal internally
Getting elected > literally everything else, you don’t get elected there is no net zero anyways.
