It's very scary when a foreign authoritarian can restrict freedom of the press even outside his own country. He's already forced the head of the BBC to resign, and made them apologize for their reporting on his putsch attempt. When we see the press underplaying negative stories about this guy and other monsters like him, fear of retribution like this is probably often a factor.
Where does this end? How can freedom of the press be protected internationally?

My theory is that Trump will start lashing out more when these companies won’t cave because the end of his presidency is in sight and it’s clear he is unpopular.
