  1. there is nothing wrong with seizing a company for the advancement of your polity, but you have to be lucid about the consequences and aftermath. Sadly the Dutch government are not woke, woke as in the Machiavellian sense

  2. It is apparent that the Goods Availability Act was invoked primarily to justify the much more potent court ruling that replaced the CEO entirely and removed all the parent company’s voting rights.

    They didn’t just want veto power, they wanted full control of the company.

    Although the Goods Availability Act was revoked, the court ruling was not so the company is still squarely in Dutch government control. They will likely drag this out in court for years which will kill the company for sure.
