Leaked Hillary Clinton emails reveal that NATO’s 2011 intervention in Libya aimed to stop Muammar Gaddafi’s plan to create a gold-backed pan-African currency, one that threatened Western financial dominance.

The documents expose concerns about Libya’s massive gold reserves and Gaddafi’s ambition to unite Africa under a single currency. NATO’s military action was driven by the goal of preventing this economic shift, leading to regime change and Gaddafi’s downfall.

You dont mess with the petrodollar. He was getting serious traction with his plans amongst neighboring states. Not sure the international banking cartel were up for it though.

  2. why on earth would someone downvote this? Like, you just don’t like it? It offends you? I’m trying to picture someone that’s not a bot that goes through just downvoting random posts. I can’t picture it.

  3. 143 tons of gold is like 8B today. That doesn’t seem like enough to threaten western financial dominance.

Trump is better because he wants to stick his fingers in his ears and whistle while taking bribes? A free airliner refurbed at taxpayer expense?

For fucks sake, she’s been out of politics 9 years already. This is so old even the mould on it has its own mould.

  5. So Sarkozy influenced the Americans to bomb Libya? Not the other way around?

Libya was going to supplant francs as the go to for French African countries, not the Petro dollar.

  6. I’ll bet his country didn’t get to keep the gold either. Back in the early part of the 20th century TONS of America’s gold was being shipped to Europe without any explanation as to why, I only learned this a few years ago while doing keyword searches at LOC.

  7. honestly not even surprised at this point.. western powers will literally start wars to maintain economic control and then act shocked when people call them out.
