  1. I’m not mad because me being mad is the entire goal of this, and many other, policies.

    Instead, I have simply stopped caring about the GOP and their voters on any level.

    Alternatively they could have called it an “All American Discount” or something less xenophobic but this is who we’re dealing with.

    Tourists, traffic, and access are all complex topics for the national park system. I just wish things were handled a little more professionally.

    On a very small level, whatever- sometimes you pay different rates based on who is paying taxes that fund the thing (eg out of state tuition)

    But of course this is mainly to discourage foreign visitors or ‘stick it to em’ which is just the kind of massively stupid thing I would expect from a bunch of white nationalists

    What a collection of countries.

    This is already a thing in other countries. Some do it for historic sites as well. Though it’s not marketed like this.
