State a fact and you will get downvoted to oblivion in less than hour. How many of these folks have never experienced life in a communist country or talked to someone who has?
It's abdurd that folks in a sub about economic collapse would be apologists for a system that not only resulted in a collapse but needed one to happen for its inception.
I thought folks in the ec sub would get the right idea, but I seriously have had debates with people who think gold and silver would have no uses in a shtf scenario, but then say it's a good idea to invest in their stocks before shtf.
Unfortunately it seems the majority of the site that remain and are organic humans are the "normie" archetype, and need further enlightenment about the true matrix reality we live in, riddled with MK Ultra programming and conditioning.
How come people are so tribalised and still arguing politics? Because they have been programmed to.
Especially here on this site, which is radical leftist and unapologetically so, to the point people who disagree are banned and censored.
No wonder it leans a certain direction when centrists and conservatives get shunned for no reason other than having a different perespective. If twitter started off how it currently is there wouldnt even be a need for a truth social or blue sky.
Getting emotionally triggered by an opinion and then getting reward for being sensitive is not a good feedback loop for a society
Which brings me back to the image I posted.
Economics subs are supposed to stick to reality because numbers-based interests don't care for emotional nonsense. They should have respect for our history, because so often it's ignored leading to past mistakes being repeated by the present.
Communism should also be respected in a different way, and should be understood as the catastrophe it is.
The people who advocate for communist government believe in an illusory utopia, where the rules of finite resources and personal property don't exist.
If folks who want to learn about real world economic collapse from the past read my comment and saw the reception it had, it would sway people to be misinformed. The herd always follows the leader.
That is why it's important to always tell the truth no matter how unpleasant it is for the masses. It's not for the people who are already aware and have raised their consciousness, it's for those who are still trapped in the 3d matrix of fear and scarcity

I think most people arguing for communism don’t want much more than just socialized healthcare and higher taxes on the rich. Which isn’t some foreign concept, even to US citizens. We already do it for veterans, seniors, etc
Reddit is a psycho liberal propaganda machine. Even the right wing subs are left wing. Optimal reddit is to unsubscribe from all of the political and front page subs.
The reason a lot of people are exploring different economic systems like communism and socialism is because they are experiencing first-hand how the current predatory capitalistic system in a lot of western countries is siphoning all the wealth and power to a select few at the top, and screwing over everyone else with wage stagnation, increasingly unaffordable housing, growing wealth inequality, and skyrocketing cost of living.
A capitalistic democracy quickly turns into an oligarchic plutocracy if left unchecked.
People want communism because they’re being fucked in the entire ass by the capitalist system.
No system we have tried so far is immune to human corruption.

Cuba implmenting communism is a lot different than America doing it. You can’t just say “oh well it didn’t work for them it won’t work for us”. Without realizing those are puppet states meant to show that communism fails because that’s how they intended it to. When really if the people owned the production in America we would see a drastic change in the quality of life. People don’t care about profits they don’t recieve when communism would provide a higher quality of life amongst all classes. Just admit you hate the idea of sharing wealth because you have more than others. It’s obviously greed that you use as a crutch and many other capitalists.
