Can we talk about why methamphetamine is seen as a valid prescription medication but marijuana is not? I feel like the side effects of marijuana are far less severe than methamphetamine, except psychosis. Which methamphetamine can also cause.

It is, ask your doctor about adderall. Smoking meth is way harsher for your lungs and teeth than cannabis, but can disclose I’ve never tried meth.
Weed doesn’t cause psychosis. It has more than hurts.

People who abuse cannabis, yes some negative things may occur. But as with anything, if you abuse it, it will cause harm. Even food
Any medication can have a side effects… I had some medication prescribed to me, to help me sleep, calm my mind, etc. 30minutes after taking it, I needed to put my shoes on, so I could walk across the ceiling…

Many years ago I watched a documentary on how Doctors, (several medical professionals) wanted access to 100% pure Cocaine, Heroin, as ‘options’ for pain medication in emergency Medician. This is before we had Ketamine. The Doctors rational was that yes they are chemically similar to Morphine, but they have different effects on the body and/or mind, and dosages, can be varied depending on patient.
-Basically, most people whom are given morphine, are half asleep, which is really bad if you have a head injury, as the hospital staff cannot tell if your “out of it” or “something is wrong with your head”.
Adderall = government grade methamphetamines
The chance of weed causing psychosis that actually harms someone is maybe 1% in regular users.
