For every 100 people who take SSRIs:
40–50 would have improved anyway (placebo + time)
10–20 get real extra help from the drug
50–70 get sexual or emotional side effects
1–5 of them never recover even years after quitting

For those playing along at home Paracetamol is what Aus/UK/NZ call acetaminophen
I don’t even bother telling my misses if I have a headache anymore. All she will say is have a Panadol, when I know they do fuck all for me
>It clearly beats placebo for fever, post-surgery pain…
So, what is your point? As someone that deals with a chronic, degenerative health issue and the complications that come with it, taking a Tylenol is often the difference between being able to work, spend time with friends, etc and not.
I’m far more concerned about literally every other drug that I’m supposed to take to treat this condition lol
