Isn't USA supposed to be all about freedom? To get away from kingdoms and empires. Feels to me like it pretty much became an empire, with the US government and it's agencies, above the rest.
People should feel welcomed into America, right?

First they've deployed National Guards like there's no tomorrow, for no good reason.
Then they've deployed ICE agents everywhere, to combat "illegal immigration"

Tell me you have freedom when you can’t even cross the street even when it is safe.
freedom in the us feels more like a marketing slogan these days tbh. they talk big about liberty while literally militarizing borders and harassing people just trying to exist here.
Why should people feel “welcomed into America”? I can’t expect the same welcome from any other country in the world. I can’t pick my favorite European country and just move there and hang out because I want to. No, they’d kick my ass out so quick.
If there was any reason to feel unsafe, it’s not national guard or ice, it’s all the insane people pushing people on to train tracks, catching them on fire, or stabbing them.
