    Well yeah what’s going to happen is the party in power will get a backlash. Happened to Obama in 2010, Trump in 2018, Biden in 2022(this one was weird people said it never happened even though Dems lost the house), and probably happen to Trump in 2026. The coalition that shows up on presidential election rarely shows up on midterms

    Am I remembering right that there was a notable absence of down ballot Republican votes, as in a lot of Trump only ballots causing those Dems to over perform?

  3. Reddit isn’t taking the article I pasted but in one word: Latinos. 70% disapproval rating after a small majority of Latino men went for Trump. Counting 2026 chickens based on the 2024 election may be a bad idea, who could have thought.

  4. I’ll believe it when I see it. GOP seems to be playing in dev mode on anything that matters.
