Donald Trump’s administration is scrapping a “woke” typeface as part of an overhaul of diversity measures.
Marco Rubio, the US secretary of state, said that the “informal” Calibri would be dropped by the state department, and the more traditional Times New Roman reinstated.
In an “Action Request” memo obtained by the New York Times (NYT), Mr Rubio said that Calibri was “informal” when compared to serif typefaces like Times New Roman and clashed with the department’s official letterhead.
He added that using Times New Roman would “restore decorum and professionalism to the department’s written work”.

Just deleted Calibri from my system fonts. Patriots, we must remove the woke mind virus wherever it is lurking, especially in something as important as written communication platforms
