Someone on my local sub was claiming that Hispanics are mostly Republicans now, which wasn’t even true in 2024 (barely), and I’m sure as hell isn’t true now

Wow it turns out wishcasting that the guy who was running on mass deportations and tariffs wouldn’t do those things and would only remove the bad guys and make things cheaper is a bad idea!
I’m Hispanic and I saw this ICE agenda coming a mile away. Is this graph just low information voters? Fickle voter base? I know “the Hispanic vote” is not one monolith, but this administration is persecuting people just because they’re brown skinned and might look Mexican (yes, they are that racist and dumb). Hispanics that were born here are rightly pissed off that their country turned into a “papers please” dystopia targeting their demographic
Surely it can’t be a “this is not what I voted for”…right? Right?
