Miami was just the latest and most drastic move relative to 2024, but big cities have been moving away from Republican mayors for the past 8 years. Much of that move has been triggered by Trump and his unpopularity.

I mentioned this in the DT but the lower you go down the totem pole of power the worse Trump has been for you politically. Look how well Dems did in 2022 at the state and local level. That was a R+2.7 year. What if TN-07 holds and we have a D+10 2026? Absolute bloodbath for local GOP
