I’ve been saying this for the past two years. The average person needed to see what a bad economy was. No crisis like 07-08, or COVID (black swan). The average person needed to see/feel/hear what true horrendous economic policies can do.
Stove theory vindicated
Republicans get graded on a curve like crazy. They literally have to pour gas all over the economy (and country generally) and grab a lighter before the Medians will even consider they might be problematic.
