The concept of a “heritage American” has gained relevance once again after Vivek Ramaswamy took a public stance against it in the New York Times and elsewhere. Here, I discuss the kinds of obligations we might have towards people in relation to what they inherit, and why those don’t exist for heritage Americans. At the end of the day, they’re still just Americans, and they have to justify their opinions about immigration and everything else on grounds other than “My people built this country.” There’s additional commentary on the subjects of fairness and what makes someone an American.

Heritage Americans deserve a better president than Donald Trump.

Honestly this is loser politics. Straight up these “heritage Americans” are simply losers. They have contributed nothing to society and so are looking for a way to do so by simply existing. Why else would you use your bloodline to assert superiority?

As a heritage American, fuck these guys.
These chuds stand in direct opposition to the values of the revolution they say gives them a blood right to this country. And it’s been said before, but I genuinely believe a lot of this nonsense is being driven by mediocre white guys whose families have been here for hundreds of years seeing newer arrivals through hard work and determination alone amount to more than they ever will, and their egos cannot cope with it.

The whole heritage American concept is a fraud. Any white person with any bit of Italian or Greek in them is almost by definition not a heritage american. The main proponent of the heritage American is married to an Indian women and has half brown children. Heritage American always includes confederate traitors for some reason. There are black people who could trace their ancestry back hundreds of years who aren’t heritage Americans.
