There always comes a point when building a new machine is more practical than maintaining an old machine. Haters will throw a tantrum over this country having any military at all, might as well have a high tech one with recent builds.

Its the fucking submarines that will win wars. and the drones.

If they make it nuclear powered and they give it rail guns and lasers then it might be pretty sweet. Anything big needs to have serious air defense in the drone era.
