So, I thought of the idea for this post and did actually go looking specifically for a Matt Goodwin article which referenced Rome so the joke would work at the end. In hindsight, of course a right-wing populist has written at least one article which references the Roman Empire (or the Republic in this case).
I figured most people on this sub are more dovish on immigration so it would be a good place to post just to inform people who are pro-immigration but might not know specifics. If you are British but too America-brained and want to get some more insight into British politics (or just an American/Non-European who appreciates my nice graphs), feel free to follow the substack. Other than that, please let me know what you think of the data and my writing style (if you make fun of the way I write I will be very sad).
