While I knew this would happen, I do agree with him. Putin’s a liar and everyone knows it.
Putin wants peace on his terms.
He’s the agressor. He’s not losing (he’s not necessarily winning). He personally isn’t feeling pain. Russian as a country isn’t suffering.
What’s his motivation for peace? As is, he can continue indefinitely – Russia was in Afghanistan for 10 years!
At least Trump is trying? What did the Democrat led administration do when they were in power? The Republican administration is doing significantly more.
