This will likely be terrible for long term stability in the region. Both nations are engaged in their own parts of bastardry (Saudi in Yemen and the UAE support of the RSF) but the united front they used to have made a strong geopolitical actor that could influence peace in the Middle East. If that crumbles, there will be more fighting in what is already a terribly brittle region.
