Oh yeah, it’s going to stick around until Trump does something that kills his support even amongst his base, and I’m not sure how he’d do that, or he fades from the public consciousness which won’t start to happen until 2029 at the earliest.

I think Trump weakens the global far-right. He is like a living advertisement against his own ideology, and his heavy-handed attempts at political meddling don’t come off as endearing to most (recent German elections seem like an example of this). I think he may even undo some of the “liberalism = woke = American imperialism” sentiment which really took root under Biden.
