I’ve seen a lot of celebration videos on X. Love to see it. I hope Venezuela, and its people, will rise to greatness.

Being a Millennial, my mind goes back to how the media couldn’t stop saying how overjoyed the Iraqis were at Saddam Hussein’s ouster, but they were just all showing the same video of maybe 100 people pulling down that big bronze statue. Either that or the one guy saying “thank you Mister Boosh.” And the past 20 years have shown that they *weren’t* all that into democracy and freedom after all.
What’s out there to reassure us that this isn’t the same thing?
