SS let’s pretend for a moment that he was a bad guy and what Trump did will keep the USA safer…no more drugs and narcotics coming from Venezuela.
What about any of this now allows the USA to take control of Venezuela’s oil reserves… estimated at 300 billion barrels?
This is just “they had weapons of mass destruction” but worded differently.
But Trump is stupid and revealing the motive by announcing they are taking over the oil because he can’t help himself
He will just invade greenland or canada maybe both next.

Why does anyone take over anything throughout history? Because they can. There’s something to gain.
And nobody has the ability to stop them.
The US keeps devaluing their currency with wars and the debt that comes along with it, they will be a failed state if they don’t figure a way out. Apparently the people at the top think the way out is the same way they got in, more wars, but this time make it more profitable.
Because despite all talk of freedom and democracy America has been an empire since the end of WW2. This is what empires do. We set up global military outposts, we demand tribute (tho these days we use financial instruments to hide this) and we sometimes just take land from others.
This is not a new development. If it feels new to you it’s because you’ve been looking away from the evidence.
