Damn, not even the lapdogs in Denmark are safe. The EU couldn’t even stomach coming out against an illegal intervention into Venezuela, and now look what’s happening!

The justification for the Canadian tarrifs was to “stop the flow of fentanyl into the US”. This is why Trump’s actions in Venezuela were so dangerous the justification of stopping cartels/drug trade can literally be used against any country including the US’ allies.
People praising Trump’s action in Venezuela are missing the forest from the trees. Trump blatantly ignored the War Powers Act and nothing happened it further encourages him to take other drastic military actions next time it might not be a dictator who is in his crosshairs.

Man, I don’t want to have a third border with the US. Annexation would actually become a serious threat to Canada if Trump had us all surrounded with a Greenland takeover.

Still do not think Republicans in congress will go along with this. We’re approaching the midterms. They’re not going to further tie themselves to a visibly physically unwell unpopular president by going to war with Europe.
Drone strikes on Mexico or something equally stupid seems more likely but we’re not going to war with Europe.
