SS Remember when Trump lied and said he had nothing to do with Project 2025? Right when he got re-elected alot of what was in the document started becoming true. Now with the invasion of Venezuela seems like they have their eyes on other countries. Notice how Iran has been in the mouth of trump? Stay tuned.

In 2002 George W. Bush went to Congress and made the case for regime change in Iraq. Pushed Congress to provide the funding necessary in addition to authority. Bush did that despite an existing authorization of force post 9/11 to go after Terrorists. Bush got separate approval for Iraq.
Bush went to the U.N. Security counsel and advocated his case. Bush agreed to wait on U.N. inspectors. Bush rallied allied nation and drummed up support from Canada, The U.K., and others. Bush spent political capital, cut deals, compromised, called in favors, etc.
Trump just initiated regime change against Venezuela without any of the leg work Bush went through. No vote in Congress, no budgetry considerations, no delays from the U.N., no partnering with allies, etc. Trump just proclaimed it is within his authority and that it is in the Nation’s interest.
Iraq added Trillions in debt, left tens of thousands of Americans (soldiers & contractors) dead or injured, and accomplished nothing useful for average people. Venezuela is shaping up to be worse. By contrast Iraq was carefully planned and responsibly conducted.

The ultimate goal is to have all Latin America on the US side, removing China and Russia influence in the region. It’s that simple.
Last year the left lost the elections in Bolivia after decades of an anti-US government.
Now Maduro’s being captured is just another move in that direction. This year there will be elections in Colombia and Brazil, and everything indicates the current left-wing leaders of such countries will also fall. This means that for the first time in a long time all Latin America will be leaning to the right.
Except for Uruguay, but really, it’s kind of a neutral country by all means and it’s doing just fine.
