The president of Venezuela's National Assembly, Jorge Rodríguez, announced Wednesday the release of a "significant number" of prisoners in the coming hours, without specifying the number of prisoners or the exact date of their release. "It is a unilateral gesture of peace and was not agreed upon with any other party,"

    It just was announced on National Television by the Leader of the Venezulean Congress

    A “substantial amount ” of political prisioners are going to be liberated starting today. Granted, we should wait and see how many. Chavistas lie all the time

    USA is doing is a surprisingly good job so far. Let’s hope good news keep coming on the future months

  2. As a Venezuelan, I was initially skeptic about the Trump administration ability to force the hand of the rest of the chavista regime, but so far it’s looking like they’re being able to do it, which is great news.
