“That sign is getting craned off” was the first thing that hit my mind when the earlier headlines broke.
What’s scarier than a government inspector is a *brand* inspector. The city will inconvenience you, McDonalds will destroy you if you look like the weakest link of their chain.

this is just so odd. Like is there a disconnect between hotel ownership and staff? Why would Hilton say they contacted the owners and resolved it only for the new video to emerge? So either the staff is going rogue against the ownership or the ownership was blatantly lying to corporate hilton and the public.
I guess since hilton is giving them the boot we know which one it was but like… what was their plan? like somehow corporate wouldn’t find out? it just makes no sense.
