This is far worse than lying. The person that is saying the falsehood knows that it’s false, and they know you know that it’s false, but can’t do anything about it. There’s no actual attempt to deceive. They are showing you that the truth doesn’t matter, and you don’t matter to them, and that they will never face any consequences.
People that believe this administration know they must ignore their eyes, because their subservience is more important than their senses. There are screaming “there are five lights” at us all, and demanding obedience.
