I don’t even see how they’d do it. It says they’ll pressure printer manufacturers to prevent the guns from being printed but, how do they know what I designed and if it’s a gun?? Manual review? 😂

How will they identify what a gun even is? They don’t always look “gun-like” and could just be as simple as a block with a few holes and slots in it
What’s worse is she’s trying to criminalize the possession or distribution of “blueprints” now. It turns out knowledge, lines on a page, solid models and lines of g code are now going to be made illegal which is absurd

Leave it to a government website to post complete lies like: “Machine guns are illegal in every state…”. I guess they just “mis-spoke” since machine guns are legal in most states.

They want to know everything you do. All the time, every time, everywhere.
That is part of the reason why now spyware in computer operating systems, automobiles, and cell phones is standard. That is why they want to eliminate cash and make everybody dependent on payments through cards and their phones.
If you buy a candy bar with cash there is no built in mechanism to let people know when/where you bought it. But with credit cards and debit cards all that stuff is record, collected, and all that information is sold.
Back in the day people were more paranoid about this stuff, which is why we have strict privacy laws involving things like checks. For example if I am a check processor and then I turn around and leak the identities and information on those checks to other businesses or the government (without a lawful order) then that can result in criminal charges. For plastic.. that is standard operating procedure.

Quite ironic, I’m printing the handguard for a Urutau PDW in PET-CF while I’m writing this.
