Erika Kirk Demands Speedy Trial, Alleges ‘Undue Delay’ In Case Involving Her Husband’s Alleged Assassin

The right to a speedy trial is a right of the defendant. The prosecutor can’t make the defendant exercise that right if they don’t want to and it’s obviously not to their benefit to do so in a case with so much pre-trial publicity and evidence of guilt.
