    From the article:

    >(AP) – Federal immigration officers are asserting sweeping power to forcibly enter people’s homes without a judge’s warrant, according to an internal Immigration and Customs Enforcement memo obtained by The Associated Press, marking a sharp reversal of longstanding guidance meant to respect constitutional limits on government searches.

    >One of the two whistleblowers was allowed to view the memo **only in the presence of a supervisor and then had to give it back. That person was not allowed to take notes**. A whistleblower was able to access the document and lawfully disclose to Congress, Whistleblower Aid said.

    And from NBC:

    >”Instead, the disclosure claims that the memo was rolled out in a secretive manner in which some agents were verbally briefed while others were allowed to view it but not keep a copy,” Blumenthal said. “**It was reportedly clear that anyone who openly spoke out against this new directive would be fired.**”

They’re training armed agents in 47 days to break into people’s homes without judicial warrants violating the 4th amendment while telling their agents TO KEEP THIS A SECRET.

Just so we’re all on the same page, police can only enter your home without a warrant in *very* limited exigent circumstances like hot pursuit of a fleeing subject, rendering aid to an occupant, or the destruction of evidence

ICE isn’t even trying to claim here that they often have these circumstances, they’re alleging that something that is very clearly ***NOT*** a judicial warrant gives them permission to enter

This is absolutely dangerous and antithetical to the fourth amendment, which puts the home above all else in security against the government
