The Midterms: It’s Not About ‘Affordability’ — It’s About Trump Hatred. Trump Derangement Syndrome is real. It is deep. And it has metastasized, not just nationally but globally.

Did republicans do enough to secure elections where they could
And will republicans turn out

>Consider the economic backdrop. Gas prices are at a five-year low, with gas stations in several states selling a gallon of regular for under $2.
California Dems are like *”oh yeah, well look at THESE PRICES”* with a smug face and their arms folded over their chests. (double)

The other side of this is that it’s not just about trump hatred, it’s about anger towards the left as well.
There are two sides to every coin; what motivates one side to turn out can in its inverse motivate the other side as well.
Which turns the entire exercise into a numbers game… Which side is more motivated to ensure the other side does not win?
Politics, on both sides, is no longer about reasoned discourse and judging what one stands to gain by their side winning. Politics is now about what one’s side stands to lose by the other side winning.
Whoever can rally their base to perceive an existential threat to themselves in the event of a loss to a greater degree than the other is who wins.

No, it’s about fascism, American version of Hitler, Nazis, and racism, as it always is with the left. Same old song.

It bools down to two things:
Did republicans do enough to secure elections where they could
And will republicans turn out
