This will never happen because agricultural sacred cows are too important to both sides
That and our industrial and energy exports are mostly primed to go to Asia and the US. We have FTAs with the US and China and the TPP, whereas the EU does not. So we’d be less free to trade
The EU could help by approving our trade deal formally, instead of letting a small subsect of one of their minor players derail our trade deal for no reason

The EU should be for European countries only. Otherwise, it’s not a European union. I’d like to ser Canada join a North American common market in the future.
No please. Canada is pretty far from Europe. A free trade agreement and military cooperation sounds much better
Nah, I don’t want Canada part of the EU. Closer integration and cooperation? Absolutely. Adopt some of their regulations where it makes sense? Sure. But only Canadians should govern Canada.
