Clarification: CA and NY Republicans will lose 6 House seats after 2030. CA and NY will gerrymander the crap out of the new boundaries to ensure that Democrats keep the same level of representation.
Redistricting is going to go like that nationwide. It will affect the Electoral College, but wind up having little effect on the overall House numbers.
