      Solution: Maximally literal slogans so that republicans can’t distort them.

      Whatever bs comes out just hit them with “What, you disagree with ‘don’t rape’ ?!”

      Personally, I think it’s cover for him wanting to defect to One Nation. I don’t think he has any chance of winning.

      He’s not wrong about the Coalition, however. Unless Gina turns off her money taps to ON and siphons the money to the Nats, they’ll be nearly wiped out north of the Murray.

      Really wish people would stop repeating the “CCP was influencing people through TikTok” as a fact. If they were, it would absolutely constitute a serious national security issue. However, as [Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez stated,](https://www.tiktok.com/@aoc/video/7461422720920849710) there was very little evidence of TikTok actually being a national security threat, corroborated by not only AOC, but House Foreign Affairs Committee members that attended the security briefing mentioned on her TikTok account.

      That’s why it matters little if Bytedance has CCP members on its board, or if they might potentially influence people into pro-CCP viewpoints, or if they might manipulate votes in the 2024 elections. Do the pro-ban people think that a high-level security briefing like that hasn’t taken those factors into account? Or are AOC and the House Foreign Affairs Committee somehow less knowledgeable about security details than users on this sub are?

      The new Alexa+ thing they force-loaded onto every Alexa today triggered me so bad. I was trying to get it to do the one thing I usually use Alexa for and it wasnā€™t doing it and then it was like:
