Submission Statement: News article regarding the intended outcomes of Trump administration policy. One thing to note beyond the article title is this:
Countries that receive deportees have noted that immigrants returning home have come with reports of testing negative for respiratory and infectious diseases.
Eduardo Wolke, the Guatemalan subminister of the National Immigration agency, said that the Central American country received one person on Jan. 21 who presented tuberculosis symptoms. The deportee, who was returned to Guatemala from Harlingen, Texas, arrived with a report stating that he had tested negative for tuberculosis, Wolke said.
Reading between the lines here, it seems that on top of intentionally overcrowding poorly maintained detention facilities and denying medical care to facilitate the rapid spread of disease, they're falsifying medical reports for deportees.
