Submission Statement: The person most favored to become President is a right-wing lawyer who is running on a hardline security & conservative economic platform. His main opponent, Iván Cepeda, is a Senator allied with incumbent Marxist President Gustavo Petro. Unfortunately, the more centrist candidates are polling much further behind so the runoff will be a Bukele wannabe vs a Socialist politician. The Colombian President Election is May 31 with a runoff a few weeks later. In March, Colombia will be holding both its Presidential primary elections and its Parliamentary elections.

Why is South America so addicted to radicals
Its bleak Colombia has again such a fuckawful batch of candidates. Here in Venezuela everyone knows Espriella as the lawyer of one of Maduro’s bagmen (Alex Saab) I think he even he helped him scape the first time around
