Due to the political leanings of Reddit, Obama is lionized here as if he deserves to sit amongst the greatest presidents throughout history. However, I've noticed that there's this strange push to rehabilitate Bush's image. The narrative that Bush wasn't a great president, but would be cool to have a beer with. Or that he's somehow not culpable for all the horrendous things that happened because he was lead astray by the people he surrounded himself with

I never thought I'd get downvoted for pointing out he was a war criminal bastard who should go down as one of the worst presidents in history

It seems people are forgetting the awful, illegal things these two did. The erosion of our constitutional rights, the flagrant disregard for human life, the illegal wars/conflicts they engaged in, and all the other problems they caused. Many of the problems the US and the world have today can be traced directly back to these two

They bowed down to the military industrial complex, facilitated the creation of an illegal surveillance state, ruthlessly pursued whistleblowers trying to spread the truth, and murdered innocent civilians abroad at an astounding rate. Never forget, never forgive

SS: Never forget what these two men are responsible for. The modern surveillance state, the mess of a situation in the Middle East, the crimes they committed and covered up, torture, and everything else. Bush crawled so Obama could walk. The conspiracies they committed have vast and long lasting consequences and are responsible for the problems we have today

well, I think W was wrong about a lot but I do believe he believed he was doing what was best for the country unlike some other presidents…

I think Obama didn’t fight hard enough on some issues like healthcare. the Republicans were gonna bitch and moan about anything you proposed, so putting out a gop backed and conceived plan (which Obamacare was) was dumb. He should have pushed for universal. I actually believe he had the political capital at the start as well as the average voters support due to the Republicans destroying the economy.

He was also just too presidential for our times. he just allowed the right to slander him with nonsense for 8 years which created this negative aura about him from the right. Ask any Republican if they liked Obama, they will yell no! ask why and you may get some wishy washy nonsense about drone strikes… assuming they aren’t openly racist enough to say the truth. They have no real answers on why he was this terrible president. They may throw out conspiratorial hypotheticals that he never did but trump sure has… which is the most baffling.

    That’s low hanging fruit.

There has always been a power struggle with this “hidden hand” that has been pulling the strings.

The civil war wasn’t about slavery.
    Lincoln’s assassination wasn’t random.
    The world wars
    Holocaust
    Prohibition
    Mk Ultra
    Military industrial complex
    Kennedy assassination
    Iran Contra
    Epstein
    9/11

The list goes on. These events weren’t random they were orchestrated. It was just Bush and Obama’s turn.
