i understand subsidies to foster a new industry and become a world leader, but once you’re at the point where you produce more than the rest of the world combined, times two, arent the subsidies just inefficient and VERY expensive? i guess yeah since thats what the IMF found
i guess my question is, why do they feel the need to continue subsidizing EVs, solar panels, ship buildings, cargo, etc ?
