Went down a rabbit hole tonight and found myself looking to see if there are still weird furniture postings on the wayfair site (even though they claimed they would change names and add better descriptions after getting caught) Came across this one. Have you ever read a furniture description like this? Made my skin crawl. Its clearly not describing a piece of furniture. Seeing how wayfair is mentioned in the Epstein emails – this is soo disturbing. Described as dining furniture…why would you need a mouse hole on dining furniture?

People used to be able to google the SKU numbers and pictures of that specific kid would come up. It was actually insanely covered up and people were called crazy for believing it, my grandma brought it up recently at dinner talking about how stupid people are and I had to show her and she was pissed for being wrong ig
Op, it doesnt say dining furniture? And its not dining furniture? A mouse hole is a real thing in furniture you snake cords through…
The “carcass” wording is especially disturbing wtf

I used to work at a furniture e-commerce company. Wayfair, Joss & Main, overstock, Amazon, Walmart, etc, are all platforms that take a percentage to allow wholeseller companies to sell their furniture on their sites. You could see the wholeseller company in the first pic ‘Global Views’
Yes, I have read these kind of descrptions and they’re common practice, these are just how the descriptions get captured for search, create story or make it attractive for people to buy the item. From my time working in 2015 to 2018, we were trying to reach meta search keywords as search engine engagements were important. First page engagement. Wouldn’t make sense anyway since the items are purchased and shipped usually shipped through regular means like UPS, Fedex, USPS or even DHL. This includes receipt, and shipping label. Plus we answer customer concerns or questions like the often broken while in shipment or measurement of the piece of furniture, parts replacements.
I know a lot of these things can be scary, but this is kind a reaching to me. It really is just describing furniture.
If you wanna know more how it works it all works as a ecommerce furniture company, feel free to ask. It’s pretty straightforward. I can’t say I speak for the whole if they are creating a secret catalogue for people to buy people, but it being on a public site doesn’t really make sense.
His manner is simple, but his depth is profound. $8,500.
