So these machines were only built for reasons you didn’t want, but it wouldn’t exist unless it was a weapon? The nerds have to learn to raise their own capital if they want their project not weaponized. It was always a weapon, if not for war then capitalism. Which is a war on the people of the world. There are no white hats, even this person in 3 years will go back and work on these weapons. Because where they going? Maybe they open a cafe? I don’t think so.
We lost most of our privacy back with the patriot act and 9/11.
Every device, app or computer system being sold in the Usa has a backdoor or it wouldn’t be allowed to be sold.
Pretty common knowledge. This is nothing new. AI just makes everything more real time.
I just assumed they already had the technology to run programs and scripts that search for key words which comb through all of our data. With AI whatever it is that they’re looking for will be done at an exponential rate. Code that normally takes a human a month to write can be done in what…10 seconds now?
