This is great and all, but I HATE the way they felt they had to say it–literally no one talks like “we rendered him no longer alive.” Just say you KILLED HIM for goodness sake.
Some people call it Voldemorting, when people use a euphemism in that way.
After the evil bad guy in Harty Potter that everyone avoids naming.
