BART from downtown to the airport is extremely convenient.
I can’t fathom why you’d get rid of it if it’s already built.

BART has been called a “commuter subway” and, yeah, half the commuters disappeared. unless voters pass the tax they probably have no choice but to shift the service to be more of a regional rail service- increased headways, shorter trains, higher fares. the way the lines are laid out it’ll still be useful as a metro in the city proper
